-A $250 deposit (applied toward the cost of tuition) is required with each application. This is non-refundable unless the application for enrollment is denied.

The Program

The Stanford Individual Events Extemporaneous Lab is the finest preparatory
program available  for advanced extemp competitors. The program thoroughly
prepares students for the upcoming year of competition by allowing them
to work closely with top extemp coaches. Stanford's superior library
system will allow competitors to supplement their extemp files. Working with
this outstanding national caliber faculty the students will have a series of
expertly critiqued speeches. The faculty includes national champions of past
years, as well as proven coaches who have qualified countless students to
state and national championships.
