The Program
The Stanford National Forensic Institute offers a two week Individual Events program that offers instruction in the following events: Dramatic Interpretation, Humorous Interpretation, Oratory, Extemporaneous Speaking, Impromptu, Thematic Interpretation, Prose, Poetry, Duo Interpretation, and Expository Speaking.

The Curriculum
SNFI's exclusive two track system allows advanced students to focus on specific events at an accelerated pace, while also ensuring that the beginning to intermediate level students advance at a more relaxed pace. This ensures that upper level competitors leave camp prepared to step directly into high level tournament competition, and younger competitors are exposed to a variety of events. Seminars are designed to cater directly to areas of student interest. Workshops are provided to instruct new competitors in basic speaking techniques and novice workshops meet both the needs of new competitors and of those solely interested in improving general speaking skills without the intention of later competition.
