May 25th is the Preferred Enrollment Deadline. We still have space in most of our programs, however we can't guarantee how long spaces will be available. If you're planning to attend, we strongly suggest that you sign up soon!
3rd week: Intensive Practice Round Public Forum Session
This session emphasizes practice rounds and improvement through in-depth critiques as the central theme of the program. Students will receive several practice rounds per day on average, and by the end of the week will have literally completed the equivalent of several tournaments worth of practice--all with extensive feedback.
Several special topics shall be covered during the program, including:
Crossfire techniques: A specially designed practicum on how to make the most of these exchanges, and how to conduct cross-examination at an advanced level.
The architecture of strategy: How to build a case that will distill neatly to a winning final focus.
Extensive practice: Nearly two thirds of the instructional time will be devoted to practice -- not just practice rounds, but speech redos and other exercises, fully critiques and monitored by the instructors.
This program is designed for high-level intermediate through advanced level students. In general, it is assumed that students who attend this session also attended the second week/core program, as some of the materials covered in the second week will be used during the third week, and is essentially a prerequisite to effective participation. The third week can be attended independently of the other programs if and only if a student is highly motivated and is prepared to arrive at the program having completed significant independent preparatory work so that they can participate effectively from day one. Any student interested in attending only the third week should contact us for more information (see menu bar and click "contact us").
