Entry Fees
Make checks payable to "Stanford Debate Society." We are unable to accept Purchase Orders (POs), so please do make sure that your actual check arrives in time to meet the stated deadlines!

DO NOT MAIL CHECKS ANYWHERE EXCEPT FOR THIS SPECIFIC ADDRESS! (as Stanford is very large, checks sent to "Stanford University" or "Stanford Debate" without our EXACT address will NOT make it to our office)!
Please don't mail anything that will require us to sign for your materials. We are not usually able to pick up mail during business hour, and as a result sending anything that's signature required may substantially delay our receipt and processing of your documentation.
We post all checks that are received to Joy of Tournaments, however please understand that we need at least 5 business days to record them. When combined with mail transit time, this means that you can expect about 10 calendar days from the date of mailing until we post your payment. Please don't inquire about the status of a mailed payment until we've had a chance to process.
Entry Fees:
- Policy Debate (JV policy is $110): $125
- LD Debate (JV LD is $75): $85
- Parli and Public Forum Debate: $85
- IE (Varsity): $30 regular, $40 duo
- IE (JV):$25 regular, $35 duo
- Student Congress: $30
- "Small" School Fee (7 or fewer students): $30
- "Large" School Fee (8 or more students): $60
- "Small" Independent School/Homeschool Fee (7 or fewer entries): $120
- "Large" Independent School/Homeschool Fee (8 or more entries): $180
- Uncovered Policy Team (per team, in addition to entry fee): $200
- Uncovered LD entries (per entry, in addition to entry fee): $100
- Uncovered Parli/Public Forum (per entry, in addition to entry fee): $90
- Uncovered Individual Event entry (per entry, in addition to entry fee): $30
- Uncovered congress entry (per entry, in addition to entry fee): $30
